Time machine

What is the Time Machine?

It is when I rummage through my early works (some really early) and display them here for your viewing and entertainment pleasure!

Laugh if you must but we all start somewhere!

date-time: circa 1980

These drawings were done when I was 7 or 8 years old. As you can see the drawings were completed using recycled paper well before recycling was a thing!

In this case, they were drawn on the back of 5-pin bowling scoring sheets from the Canadian 5-Pin Bowler’s Association of which my Grandparents were members! I have dozens of drawings that were done on these sheets, of greatly varying quality and competence, but I remember the joy I experienced sitting with my Grandmother drawing these and showing them to her with great pride when each was finished! …and she would usually reward these endeavours with some kind of baked goods - YUM!

Drawings are standard 8.5” X 11” office paper

Time Machine - 1980 - 1

As you can see, Harold was quite the 5-Pin sniper with the highest average of any of the bowlers on the backs of the drawings!
